Sword and Soul is a powerful intermediate-to-advanced double sword workshop designed for dancers who crave not just precision and presence, but meaning in every movement. We’ll be working with “Reckless” by St. Vincent — a song that honors the beauty, chaos, and loyalty of friendship — and crafting a choreographed piece that’s as emotionally resonant as it is visually stunning.
You’ll learn:
**Expansive, elegant, and dynamic double sword vocabulary
**Layered duet and group formations
**Techniques to deepen your performance presence
**And most importantly — how to move as one, with trust, timing, and fierce devotion
This is not just a workshop. It’s a bonding ritual in steel. A chance to show up for each other with blades drawn and hearts wide open.
Level: Intermediate/Advanced. Advanced beginners welcome with instructor approval.
