Najmah Nour
Najmah Nour is a seasoned international Bellydance artist with a remarkable 30+-year journey in the world of Middle Eastern Dance.
She has also created a fusion dance where she seamlessly blends traditional and contemporary styles, encompassing Middle Eastern, Flamenco, and Ladino music and dance, creating a truly unique and captivating performance. Najmah effortlessly merges the fundamental stylization of Arab dance with the fervent passion of Flamenco.
Hailing from a profoundly artistic Spanish/Cuban family, Najmah’s upbringing was immersed in music and dance, with the living room serving as a stage for their rhythmic expressions, profoundly influencing her artistic path.
As an educator, Najmah shares her wealth of knowledge and a boundless spirit with her students, earning her a well-deserved reputation as a sought-after instructor across the Southeast. On stage, her extensive experience in both nightclubs and theatrical productions infuses her performances with depth and soulfulness, captivating audiences from far and wide.
Currently based in Gainesville, Florida, Najmah not only imparts her expertise but also contributes to the community by organizing events that aim to educate and inspire.

Join Najmah for a workshop dedicated to building confidence through dance — not chasing perfection. Discover what happens when you slow down and truly listen to what your body is telling you.
Please bring silk veils because they may be used as a tool in class to help enhance expression and body awareness.

Flamenco Fusion: Fire Meets Flow
SUNDAY | JULY 12 | NOON - 2 PM
Experience the best of two powerful dance traditions in one unforgettable workshop. In this dynamic flamenco fusion session, you'll learn a short, expressive choreography that blends the fierce strength and confidence of flamenco with the sensual fluidity of belly dance.
No prior flamenco or belly dance experience required — just a willingness to move, express, and have fun.
Please bring skirts to put on in the second half of the workshop.
