Surreyya Hada: Slingblade - A Double Sword Choreography and Performance Opportunity!!

Two swords are better than one! YOU can master the art of the double sword - and perform it at Burque Bellyfest with us! Alluring, mysterious and enchanting are often used to describe the sword dance. This fun and fancy sword dance will not only boost your confidence and sword-balancing skills and take them to the next level, you will get to bond with a team of dancers and perform in the big show!

Learn slick new moves and how to safely transition from standing to floorwork and the secrets of a few fantastic stunts so you can add them to your personal repertoire. Anyone can do it - all you have to do is try! Preppers - pre-event practices will be available via zoom and recorded instructions before we meet in person...simply inquire. Swords can travel with you, and we can tell you how to make sure they arrive with you safely. This workshop will literally knock your socks off - not to be missed!
